The purpose of the Center for Discipleship & Equipping (CDE) is to complement the discipleship process of First McKinney (love, grow, serve and share) by equipping people with a core set of competencies (head, heart and hands) that empower them to help others find and follow Jesus Christ.
 
CORE Competencies
These classes center on the understanding needed for all Christians in relationship to following Christ and serving Him with their whole life.
 
TARGET Competencies
These classes center on the Christian in a specific life stage or in regard to a direct need.
