This 3e McKinney event and is put together twice a year with the help of over 800 volunteers. The exaggerated yard sale symbolizes the cooperative efforts of numerous churches throughout the community. Last year, the event attracted more than 1000+ residents. Garage Giveaway helps to remind the community it's not about the Stuff, it's about “blessings from one person to another.” Consider helping us this year as we hope to express Biblical love for one another and our neighbors by sharing household goods, healthcare and personal care.
Downsize, thin out, clean out, give away any of the following gently used items:
•household items
•gently used clothing for any age
•small appliances in working condition
•toys
•books
•usable computers and electronics
•kitchen ware
•small furniture
•usable linens.
•baby linens
•brand new cleaning kit (bucket, scrub brushes, cleaning supplies, paper towels, toilet paper)
Donations will only be accepted Friday and Saturday
Items not accepted: propane tanks, gas cans with fuel in them, baby car seats and baby cribs
The most important thing to remember is it’s not about the Stuff, it’s about the hearts of those that are touched through this exciting ministry. This is an incredible opportunity to provide “Blessings From One Person to Another.” Free stuff always gets peoples attention, and 1,000's of donated items are needed.
