Jill Dillashaw

Jill is a graduate of Baylor University where she majored in Psychology and minored in Religion.  She then attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary earning a Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling and a Masters in Religious Education. She has worked in many settings including residential, special crimes/victims services, domestic violence treatment, and child and adolescent counseling centers.  However, Jill feels especially at home now in the area of private Christian-based practice.

Jill believes God has a plan and vision for all of our lives. She works with clients dealing with depression, post partum, anxiety, grief, parenting, marital issues or clients who just need some encouragement to get their life back on track. She helps clients answer questions such as: "Is there more to just merely surviving grief/pain/trauma?"  "Is there purpose in our most frustrating days?"  "What are the keys to discovering more of God's vision for my life?"  "How does one find joy again?"  "How do I organize and manage my life to reach GOD's potential for me and my family?"  Jill works with parents, couples, children, teens, women and men.  Her goals are that through the counseling process, one can begin to challenge non-biblical views of self and the world, find helpful skills to ease pain or to bring about better results in life, and to learn to maximize life as an individual, couple or family.

Jill is married and has three children.  They attend FBC McKinney.
